Sky Park in Singapore

In Singapore, opened Sky Park
June 24 in Singapore, opened a new wonder of the world. "Sky Park" Marina Bay Sands is located on the 200-meter height on the three skyscrapers, as if on three pillars. Here is the most expensive in the world of casinos, bars, restaurants, the largest outdoor swimming pool, 150 meters long and even the Museum of Modern Art.

Albert Einstein Conversation With His Professor On FAITH

An Atheist Professor of Philosophy was speaking to his Class on the Problem Science has
with GOD, the ALMIGHTY. He asked one of his New Christian Students to stand and . . ..

Professor : You are a Christian, aren't you, son ?
Student : Yes, sir.
Professor : So, you Believe in GOD ?
Student : Absolutely, sir.
Professor : Is GOD Good ?
Student : Sure.
Professor : Is GOD ALL - POWERFUL ?
Student : Yes.
Professor : My Brother died of Cancer even though he Prayed to GOD to Heal him.
Most of us would attempt to help others who are ill.
But GOD didn't. How is this GOD good then? Hmm?

(Student was silent )

Professor : You can't answer, can you ? Let's start again, Young Fella.
Is GOD Good?
Student : Yes.
Professor : Is Satan good ?
Student : No.
Professor : Where does Satan come from ?
Student : From . . . GOD . . .
Professor : That's right. Tell me son, is there evil in this World?
Student : Yes.
Professor : Evil is everywhere, isn't it ? And GOD did make everything. Correct?
Student : Yes.
Professor : So who created evil ?

(Student did not answer)

Professor : Is there Sickness? Immorality? Hatred? Ugliness?
All these terrible things exist in the World, don't they?
Student : Yes, sir.
Professor : So, who Created them ?

(Student had no answer)

Professor : Science says you have 5 Senses you use to Identify and Observe the World around you.
Tell me, son . . . Have you ever Seen GOD?
Student : No, sir.
Professor : Tell us if you have ever Heard your GOD?
Student : No , sir.
Professor : Have you ever Felt your GOD, Tasted your GOD, Smelt your GOD?
Have you ever had any Sensory Perception of GOD for that matter?
Student : No, sir. I'm afraid I haven't.
Professor : Yet you still Believe in HIM?
Student : Yes.
Professor : According to Empirical, Testable, Demonstrable Protocol,
Science says your GOD doesn't exist. What do you say to that, son?
Student : Nothing. I only have my Faith.
Professor : Yes,Faith. And that is the Problem Science has.

Student : Professor, is there such a thing as Heat?
Professor : Yes.
Student : And is there such a thing as Cold?
Professor : Yes.
Student : No, sir. There isn't.

(The Lecture Theatre became very quiet with this turn of events )

Student : Sir, you can have Lots of Heat, even More Heat, Superheat, Mega Heat, White Heat,
a Little Heat or No Heat.
But we don't have anything called Cold.
We can hit 458 Degrees below Zero which is No Heat, but we can't go any further after that.
There is no such thing as Cold.
Cold is only a Word we use to describe the Absence of Heat.
We cannot Measure Cold.
Heat is Energy.
Cold is Not the Opposite of Heat, sir, just the Absence of it.

(There was Pin-Drop Silence in the Lecture Theatre )

Student : What about Darkness, Professor? Is there such a thing as Darkness?
Professor : Yes. What is Night if there isn't Darkness?
Student : You're wrong again, sir.
Darkness is the Absence of Something
You can have Low Light, Normal Light, Bright Light, Flashing Light . . .
But if you have No Light constantly, you have nothing and its called Darkness, isn't it?
In reality, Darkness isn't.
If it is, were you would be able to make Darkness Darker, wouldn't you?
Professor : So what is the point you are making, Young Man ?
Student : Sir, my point is your Philosophical Premise is flawed.
Professor : Flawed ? Can you explain how?
Student : Sir, you are working on the Premise of Duality.
You argue there is Life and then there is Death, a Good GOD and a Bad GOD.
You are viewing the Concept of GOD as something finite, something we can measure.
Sir, Science can't even explain a Thought.
It uses Electricity and Magnetism, but has never seen, much less fully understood either one.
To view Death as the Opposite of Life is to be ignorant of the fact that
Death cannot exist as a Substantive Thing.
Death is Not the Opposite of Life: just the Absence of it
Now tell me, Professor, do you teach your Students that they evolved from a Monkey?
Professor : If you are referring to the Natural Evolutionary Process, yes, of course, I do.
Student : Have you ever observed Evolution with your own eyes, sir?

(The Professor shook his head with a Smile, beginning to realize where the Argument was going )

Student : Since no one has ever observed the Process of Evolution at work and
Cannot even prove that this Process is an On-Going Endeavor,
Are you not teaching your Opinion, sir?
Are you not a Scientist but a Preacher?

(The Class was in Uproar )

Student : Is there anyone in the Class who has ever seen the Professor's Brain?

(The Class broke out into Laughter )

Student : Is there anyone here who has ever heard the Professor's Brain, Felt it, touched or Smelt it? . . ..
No one appears to have done so.
So, according to the Established Rules of Empirical, Stable, Demonstrable Protocol,
Science says that You have No Brain, sir.
With all due respect, sir, how do we then Trust your Lectures, sir?

(The Room was Silent. The Professor stared at the Student, his face unfathomable)

Professor : I guess you'll have to take them on Faith, son.
Student : That is it sir . . . Exactly !
The Link between Man & GOD is FAITH.
That is all that Keeps Things Alive and Moving.

NB:

I believe you have enjoyed the Conversation . . . and if so .. .
You'll probably want your Friends / Colleagues to enjoy the sam e . . . won't you?
Forward them to Increase their Knowledge . . . or FAITH.
That student was Albert Einstein.

I can’t imagine my life without music- it makes us laugh, cry, think, question, work harder, get through good times and bad times, fall in love, dance. I’ve always loved discovering new bands, because nothing drives me crazier than songs overplayed on the radio. I’ve labeled myself with having “MADDS” (Music ADD). Lucky for me, my best friends share in this diagnosis, and we are always exchanging new bands of all genres that bring something more than repetitive lyrics and studio altered vocals. Here’s some great sites and blogs that makes the quest for great new music a little easier:

They Hype Machine: They search hundreds of mp3 music blogs, and present the best to you, allowing you to play the song directly from the front page. You can choose between the latest most popular songs in the blogosphere, spy on what others are listening to, customize your favorite artists and blogs, and stream directly from their radio. There’s a link next to the preview to buy the song from itunes or Amazon.

blip.fm: Warning this site is addicting. Once you signup and create your DJ name, you have access to thousands of streaming songs and can create your own music station. You basically search for a song (and they have pretty much every song you can imagine), write a little blurb about it, and then share it with everyone. Think Twitter meets music. You can give people props, play others songs directly from the homepage and buy the songs easily.

Grooveshark: This site is pretty much genious and no description could give it the props it deserves. Their tagline describes it best, how you can “Listen to any song in the world for free.” You can discover new songs, make playlists, and subscribe to others playlists. It’s also great for putting embedding songs on your blogs or myspace.

Lala: I discovered this site yesterday and absolutely love it. It’s a hub for discovering new artists and purchasing. You can listen to music as you search for new songs, and even sync your own library to your account.

MusicFile is one of the greatest music blogs I’ve come across- you can discover new bands, find overlooked artists and songs, search for the best small venues, get the song of the day, and read interviews from some of the best songwriters.

NotestoNote: If I ever need a great new song or artist there’s one person I go to: my best friend Lindsay. After much begging, we finally convinced her to share her musical finds with the world and start a blog. Check out her blog for some great songs, artists and videos!

Discover its many delicious flavors and exciting shopping possibilities.

Selat Melaka Mosque

When it comes to flying off to our Asian neighbors, Malaysia usually doesn’t top our list of destinations. We think of Hong Kong, Thailand and Singapore. But in my study, I discovered a Malaysia that can satiate every traveler’s must-try—especially when it comes to shopping and food tripping.

The Berjaya Times Square

Shopping Galore

With over 30 malls around the city, it’s easy to see why Malaysia is quickly gaining a reputation as a shopper’s paradise. Berjaya Times Square is Malaysia’s largest mall with over 700 retail shops including Mango, Debenhams and Elianto. Just a block away is Sungei Wang Plaza, a Greenhills-type of establishment, where you can find stalls of bargain finds. The Creations by Malaysian Designers Block is a good venue to check out local fashion, but since they carry designer clothes, it comes with designer price. If you really want bargain prices every where you turn, trek to Kl’s Chinatown (Petaling Street) and be ready to stick out your elbows and maneuver your way around. It’s jam-packed the way Divisoria gets during the weekends.

Other retail therapy spots: The Bukit Bintang area is well-known shopping district (where both Berjava and Sungei are located) where you can find Bukit Bintang Plaza and the upscale Starhill Gallery and Lot 10; Jalan Masjid India or KL’s “Little India”; and the popular Suria KLCC.

Experience the rides in Genting–you can go kiddie or get scared out of your wits.

Taste Malaysia

The other thing that can definitely rival the shopping in a Malaysian vacation is the food—particularly having it in the street. From cosmopolitan KL to the historical city of Malacca, the street food culture thrives. In Jalan (street) Alor in KL, tables occupy half of the street, where both local and tourists dine. The food is cheap, tasty and comes in generous servings. Now what to order? You can go for the spicy and aromatic Malay food, the stir-fried goodness of Chinese food, the bold and piquant flavor of Indian food, heck, even Portuguese food (in Malacca, which used to be occupied by the Portuguese).

Feast on the street.

Tourist-y Things

What’s a trip without doing requisite sightseeing, picture-taking and having a bit of adventure? Spend a day at Genting Highlands Resort, the “City of Entertainment,” where outdoor and indoor theme park sit atop a mountain. If images of Disneyland and Las Vegas float your boat, then you won’t run out of things to do (or escalators to ride) in Genting. The weather there can get chilly, which is a welcome break from the general warm weather of Malaysia. If you want something more laid back and idyllic, go down to Malacca. With its 600 years of rich history, you can stumble upon churches with Dutch or Portuguese influences and a block away find your self in front of temples and mosques. Then whip out that camera!

You want an explosion of colors? How about this Hotel in Genting.

The BEACHES

The long coastline of Peninsular Malaysia with Straits of Malacca to the west and South China Sea to the east provides many choices of beaches and islands for visitors to choose their holiday destination. Some of the beautiful islands are Redang Island, Tioman Island and Pangkor Island.

Langkawi Island is a duty free island which is more developed compared to the other islands of Peninsular Malaysia. It is also the venue of Langkawi International Maritime and Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA).

There are many Langkawi hotels that you can choose to stay while you are here depending on your budget.

The island of Borneo where Sabah and Sarawak are located also boast of a long coastline with South China Sea to the west and Sulu Sea to the east. While in Kota Kinabalu, visit Tunku Abdul Rahman Marine Park and you will enjoy the abundance of fishes here. The world renowned Sipadan Island, a diving haven is located at the Celebes Sea to the east of Sabah.

The MOUNTAINS

The mountains of Malaysia are the places where many go to escape the heat of the day. The highlands that are developed for tourism include Cameron Highlands, Genting Highlands, Frasers Hill, and Bukit Tinggi.

As the mountains are high in altitude, the temperature varies from 16 &degC to 24 &degC hence an ideal place to go for a time of relaxation..

Apart from that, the greeneries and the mountainous landscapes that abound in the highlands make many nature lovers come back again. As for theme park on the mountain, there is Genting, the City of Entertainment which is located in Genting Highlands.

If you prefer to go to a less developed hill, Maxwell Hill or Bukit Larut in Taiping is the one that you can go to. There isn't any 5 star hotel here but bungalows and rest houses for accommodation.
